Overlooking the ocean and San Clemente pier, Casa Romantica was built in 1927 as the family home of San Clemente's founder, Ole Hanson. The Spanish Colonial Revival mansion was designed by architect Carl Lindbom and is now a cultural center and historic landmark.

The Beach Trail is a popular 2.3 mile long trail connects North Beach to Calafia Beach with stops along the way at the Pier and T-Street. It's very popular trail frequently used by walkers, joggers, cyclists, and dog owners.
